Many Entrepreneurs start their business without the doing the necessary research, this slows down their result process and gets them frustrated with their business.
This shouldn’t be your reality, but if you already did, you can also learn in the process. All you need is to understand what to do and what to avoid on your entrepreneurial Journey.
These common mistakes include:
- Inability to thoroughly research your Target audience: Before, you call yourself a business, you must know who really want to attract and WHY you need to attract them. Nobody will listen to you if you just want to attract everybody.
If you are interested in selling clothes, thoroughly research the ideal people that will wear the clothes. If it is babies, then you target their parents to buy your products.
Secondly, you research to find out how you will get them to notice your brand in the first place. Which medium will you use to reach them?
Find out all these, before you call your business, a Real Business.
- They Make their Brand All About them: Your brand should actually be built on helping other people. It is NOT really about you because people are crazily concerned about their own problems to bother about what you are saying about yourself.
They only care about how you can help them achieve results. Most of the multi-billion companies could have built their brand and kept the products to themselves but NO! they sold it to both retailers and wholesalers, so that anybody, anywhere can get their product at any time.
Don’t horde your products, distribute it through Affiliates or through wholesalers so that the lowest person on the economic ladder can have access to the product.
- Being Inconsistent: Your ability to show up on selected days, will either help your brand take off or stand still.
Be consistent and be known for a thing before you diversify to other viable markets. You want your name to be associated with a particular `brand, so try your best to stand up and stay up.
